What is kombucha?
The term ‘kombucha’ literally denotes “tea prepared from kombu seaweeds”. It is variously referred to as Manchurian tea or kargasok tea. It is highly popular due to its health claims. Though it is often referred to as mushroom which it resembles, it is not a mushroom. Kombucha
is supposed to have miraculous healing properties.
Kombucha is like a grey colored pancake in shape and is rubbery in consistency, it feels and looks like a mushroom yet it is not solid and has a rather jelly like skin.
Kombucha is in the form of a gelatinous mass. It is a colony of various species of bacteria and fungi existing together and these same microorganisms infuse into the tea when added to it. What is Krill Oil?
Krill oil is produced from the small shrimp crustaceans known as krill. Large amounts of omega 3 fatty-acids are present in krill oil. The krill oil also contains a very powerful antioxidant named astaxanthin together with the famous A Vitamin and E Vitamin.
